Gosolar.gr – Balafoutis is a family owned business, at the centre of Athens, Greece.
The company was founded in 1995, when John Balafoutis, mechanical engineer, studied, designed and manufactured in Greece the solar oven. The solar oven was awarded for its quality and performance, as well as for its capabilities to offer cooking without the need to connect to the power grid. A safe and environmentally friendly solution for cooking at the beach and the countryside. Cooking with solar energy was just the beginning.
The company quickly evolved and brought more solar energy solutions for a wide range of applications. We understand the challenges that can occur when energy is needed in remote areas. In sunny countries like Greece, solar energy is a great gift. Aside from that, the climate change and the energy crisis are two important factors that make the use of solar energy a necessity.
